Removal and new roofAsbestos roof removal and new roof, one team
Taking the old roof off is the hard part. Having a new roof fitted straight afterwards means one scaffold, one team and a dry building the same week. Quoted separately, so you can still choose removal only.
How the job runs.
1. Choose your new roof
Insulated steel sheeting, tiles or a flat roof system. The contractor advises on what suits your structure.
2. Old roof out
Same safe method as any asbestos cement removal: cordon, wet, lower, wrap.
3. New roof on
Battens, felt and covering fitted while the scaffold is still up.
4. Optional extras
Rainwater goods, ventilation or solar-ready fixings can be added to the quote.

Good to know.
Does the new roof come with a guarantee?
That depends on the contractor and the roof type. Ask for guarantee terms in writing.
Can the roof structure be reused?
Often yes if the timbers are sound. The contractor checks once the old sheets are off and tells you before work continues.
Send a photo of your roof.
A local contractor reviews your photos and contacts you. No obligation.
